Which skins trigger the Royal animation?
Skins marked with a crown in a case’s contents are skins worth more than the price of that case and are among the most expensive available in its contents. Winning such a skin triggers the Royal animation.
What the animation looks like
When you win a skin marked with the Royal symbol, the case-opening animation pauses briefly and displays a crown icon. The animation then continues to reveal the skin you’ve won.
How to disable the Royal animation
If you don’t want to see the Royal animation, you can turn it off in your account settings. Go to settings and turn off the Royal Mode option.
